About Me

Since graduating from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Degree in 2008, I have been employed by The Ottawa Hospital working in areas such as the Cardiac Surgical ICU, the Emergency Department, and Interventional Radiology.

Managing and leading a team of employees has always been a long-term goal within my career. Although I have been proactive in seeking out leadership opportunities that offer new challenges, I realize that without furthering my education it will limit both my personal and professional growth.

This brings me to my next journey as a student at Athabasca University where I am pursuing a Master of Health Studies (MHS). I am confident this program will provide me with the tools necessary to help make positive changes to our healthcare system for both patients and staff.
